Changing gears here a little bit at Forged From Texas. We finished up a double custom wine rack last month that turned out pretty awesome. Moving into the hotter part of summer we will be doing several different sizes of cleavers and chopping style blades. Let us know what kind of project you would like to see next!

Hey guys! Here’s a couple custom blades we have been wrapping up this week as well as the raffle blade.

Wanted to try something different on this raffle and let the winner pick their handle material so it feels even more custom specifically to them. There will be several different options to choose from including my personal favorite - spalted Texas pecan!

That’s right! We will be making billets for sale on occasion now so if you have ever wanted to work with some of Jordan’s hand made damascus now is your chance! There is currently one still available on the website, but more will be added with different pattern varieties in the coming weeks!

Its been a busy couple months but I am planning to really start keeping up with this blog on what we are doing around the shop. We have several new blades that are about to be available on the site in the next couple days. Just wanted to show a preview of what is coming!

We are pleased to announce that after years of trying to go full-time with this endeavor that it has finally happened! On May 1, 2022 we took the plunge into becoming full time makers. It is not just going to be knives around here. We will be doing custom laser engraving as well as welding and fabrication projects too! Need a metal sign? Need custom metal business cards? The sky will be the limit for us here at Forged From Texas and we are pleased to get this ball rolling and take you all on the journey of being a Maker.
